Eco Synergy, Intelligent New Journey | The 7th Meeting of the openKylin Ecology Committee Successfully Held
On September 29, 2026, the seventh meeting of the OpenAtom openKylin (referred to as "openKylin") Ecosystem Committee was successfully held. Committee members discussed topics includingmember co-option, working group management, ecosystem operation progress, and future planning, jointly promoting community governance and ecosystem development.
Governance Renewal | Ecosystem Committee Gains Strong New Members
The community governance structure is continuously optimized, with fresh blood officially infused.The meeting reviewed the co-option of two industry experts, Zhou Qingfei and Yin Zhichao,as openKylin Ecosystem Committee members. Zhou Qingfei currently serves as the General Manager of Technical Support Department/Planning and Technology Department of China Great Wall Technology Co., Ltd., and Yin Zhichao currently serves as the Vice President of Commercial Display BG of Guangzhou Shiyuan Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. The meetingalso reviewed and approved the "openKylin Community Ecosystem Committee Working Group Management Measures",providing institutional guarantees for the standardized establishment and efficient operation of working groups.
Ecosystem Leap | Community Scale Steadily Growing
At the meeting, Li Zhenning, Director of the openKylin Ecosystem Committee, reported on the community construction progress and future plans.Currently, the openKylin community has accumulated over 2.91 million users, over 29,000 developers, 2,476 member units (newly added 311), 136 university stations (6 newly added), established 158 technical SIG groups (6 newly added), and the cumulative PR submissions have exceeded 28,000 (newly added 7,100).In 2026, the community obtained 7 new certificates, bringing the total to over 50 certificates, includinghonors such as "Outstanding Co-construction Unit", "Excellent Proposition", "Best Open Source AI Breakthrough Award", "2025 Software and Information Technology Service Industry Star Open Source Community", and was included in the SCO Achievements List.
In terms of technology, adaptation for platforms such as Phytium, Hygon, and Loongson was completed, and two patch sets from the R4L SIG were accepted upstream by Linux. AI ecosystem construction continues to advance, with the Token Center, openKylin-skills skill library, and Kylin-CUA project successively launched, and multiple mainstream intelligent agents adapted and listed. The RISC-V ecosystem is developing steadily, with compression performance improved by about 3.25 times, and the first batch of 7 applications launched on the software store.
openKylin 3.0 was officially released, with a cumulative total of 744 bugs fixed and a serious bug fix rate of 94.1%, and a maintenance update is planned for release by the end of September.
