openKylin × Haiguang, Building a Full-Stack Native Intelligent Computing Foundation!

2026-07-15 14:37:05

July 9–11,the 2026 Intelligent Computing Application Conference of the Photon Organization was held atthe Zhengzhou International Cultural Exchange Center. With the theme "Intelligent Computing Without Boundaries, Paradigm Shift," the conference brought together industry chain enterprises, research institutes, open-source communities, and industry experts to discuss AI large models, operating systems, and intelligent computing, focusing on industrial innovation, ecological collaboration, and breakthroughs in core technologies. The event featured a main opening session, 39 specialized forums, and over a thousand square meters of ecological exhibition area, showcasing domestic full-stack intelligent computing achievements covering chips, computing power, storage, software, and industry applications.

openKylin exhibited its AI operating system innovations powered by the Haiguang C86 platform in the AI+ Industry Development Exhibition Area. It prominently showcased its self-developed native AI agent, KylinBot, focusing on three core capabilities: local private large model inference, system-level native intelligent agents, and end-side data security, fully demonstrating the collaborative innovation value of "chip + open-source OS + local AI."

KylinBot is deeply embedded in the system's underlying architecture, supporting dual interaction modes of voice and text for offline operation of mainstream large models. It covers capabilities such as knowledge Q&A, document processing, and multimodal generation, and can directly schedule underlying resources for device management, batch operations, and more. Paired with Haiguang's hardware encryption mechanism, business and model data remain local and are not leaked, making it suitable for high-privacy scenarios in government, finance, and industry. At the event, attendees stopped by the booth to experience the full process of offline voice interaction, local knowledge base retrieval, and system automation control, gaining an intuitive feel for the smooth experience of domestic end-side AI.

The openKylin operating system is deeply integrated with the Haiguang C86 processor, implementing hundreds of kernel optimization patches. It achieves full-dimensional tuning in CPU scheduling, memory management, and heterogeneous collaboration, effectively addressing pain points such as local inference latency and read/write stuttering, fully unleashing the chip's general computing and AI inference capabilities. The system optimizes model loading and high-concurrency read/write processes for Haiguang's multi-core architecture and dedicated instruction set, enabling stable offline operation of mainstream open-source large models, thereby filling the gap in domestic local intelligent computing software and hardware collaboration.

Haiguang Information Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as Haiguang Information), as a diamond donor to openKylin, deeply participates in the co-building of the community ecosystem. Previously, at the openKylin Open Source Ecosystem Forum of the 2026 OpenAtom Open Source Ecosystem Conference, openKylin released its intelligent agent operating system and launched the openKylin 3.0 ecosystem co-building plan, with Haiguang Information deeply involved. The achievements showcased at this conference represent a phased implementation of the underlying software and hardware collaborative innovation between the two parties. Moving forward, both sides will continue to promote kernel tuning, native intelligent agents, and local large model adaptation technologies, accelerating the paradigm shift in intelligent computing and jointly building an open and secure domestic advanced computing industry ecosystem.
