Combined with openKylin's development history, technical ecosystem, and internationalization practices, the sharing introduced the community's exploration in global collaboration, ecosystem construction, and cross-national cooperation, demonstrating how developers and organizations from different countries jointly participate in the community's project building. From technological innovation, community governance to multi-language support, students gained further understanding of the operation mode of open source communities and how technical forces from different regions form a synergy in open collaboration.

Around open-source development trends, community collaboration, and practical contributions, students actively raised questions, combining their professional backgrounds and language strengths to explore diverse participation pathways. Tasks such as language version proofreading and adaptation, documentation building, international outreach, and community operations provide young people from different fields with space to leverage their skills, while also turning language and culture into bridges that connect global developers. After the event, many students proactively expressed interest in joining openKylin. Currently, the community is advancing follow-up cooperation with interested students, focusing on language version proofreading and adaptation to translate classroom exchanges into real project contributions, further expanding the pool of participants for the community’s internationalization efforts.

University classrooms and open-source communities thus form a natural point of convergence: the former brings together young people from diverse countries, disciplines, and cultural backgrounds, while the latter provides real-world scenarios for open collaboration and hands-on contribution. This visit to Beijing Institute of Technology extended the exchange between openKylin and international students from community introductions to concrete cooperation, and also offered a new exploration into combining university-level international exchange with open-source practice. Looking ahead, openKylin will continue to expand cooperation with universities and international youth communities, promote more diverse forms of engagement, and enable young people from different backgrounds to share strengths and contribute jointly in open-source practice, while forging closer ties with the global open-source ecosystem.
